Iron golems are passive towards the player

Iron golems do not react to any harm dealt by the player to them or nearby villagers. You can hit them, you can kill them, no response whatsoever. Even in Survival with Hard difficulty on. I'm not sure they are supposed to just stand there and do nothing. Also occurs in 14w25b.
