Crops

So I have noticed for a while in Minecraft, I had built a greenhouse for my crop but whenever I place 2 things (carrots, potatoes, wheat) they both break and they don't stay placed. This has been happening in a couple snapshots as well but I just learned that I can contact you about problems. Thank you. Please resolve fast.
