a server bug for 14w27b

a server bug 14w27b

What I expected to happen was...:
that the server shows commands being issued, players chating, stats ect.

What actually happened was...:
the stats box is blank and the log and chat box is blank

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run the 14w27b server
