MC-5998Item duplication by using the hopper
There is a problem with the hopper. Ussualy it duplicates the clock item when you throw it in the hopper

Clear details: Happens on all items that land on the edge of the hopper. It's not specific to clocks or hoppers on chests. This has been fixed for the next snapshot
