Rabbits have no sounds

The log files say:
8:29:59 INFO]: Client> [08:29:59] [Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: minecraft:mob.rabbit.hop

This leads me to believe that rabbits are supposed to have sounds, however the game cannot find them.
