Getting hurt by skeletons when in peaceful.

I was mining and i got to a dungeon (I was on peaceful), and i open a chest take stuff, then close the chest and i got shot, ALMOST PEE'S MY PANTS! And i was testing, and was just walking around in there and i kept seeing a skeleton appear then dissapear and shoot me! This is annoying.
