Bookshelf Has Missing Texture

What I expected to happen was...:
A bookshelf to show up normally when placing it

What actually happened was...:
The bookshelf instead showed up as a cube of black and pink squares.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. activate creative mode
2. place a bookshelf somewhere
3. go fix it
