Block update detectors with redstone torches break the redstone torches

I made a redstone torch key for my Minecraft world, and now, in the snapshot when I activate it, with a comparator coming out of the BUD, a redstone torch key connected to this comparator gets destroyed. The design I used for the Redstone Torch key is the last design of this video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhg67kberPw . I also included an image of the problem. Thanks for your time.
