Redstone Torch Depowering Bug

Upon depowering any redstone torch attached to the side of any valid block (solid, opaque and full size) the redstone torch will break as if the block attached to the redstone torch is not a valid block (nonsolid, translucent or partial size). The cause may possibly be because of bugged code in the off-state redstone torch class file.
