Can't spawn or obtain double_stone_slab

Whenever I try to obtain a Double Stone Slab it drops out an error that there is no such item with name "minecraft:double_stone_slab". Although whenever I make a whole block from 2 slabs - it shows it's name in debug mode.

How to reproduce:
Type in ^{/give @p minecraft:double_stone_slab}
(At first I tried ^{/give @p minecraft:double_stone_slab 1 8} , but that doesn't really matter).

What actually happens:
It drops out a message ^{There is no such item with name minecraft:double_stone_slab} .
