Server only open to host

I used to be able to run a vanilla minecraft server perfectly, but recently, only I am able to connect, no one else. Nothing has changed, and I have enabled the port through port forwarding the ipv4 address. But for some reason only I can join the server, and yes, I am using the public ip, not the internal ip. However, I ran a port tester website and it said the port was closed.
