Fast or Fancy leaves?

I started my new world with the new snapshot 14w25b and I realized the leaves looked weird. Then I got a closer look and realized they were half the fancy texture and half fast texture. I got closer to them and it changed to fast. But then I went back and it was fancy again. Note: I had my setting on Fast.
