3D recourse pack blocks showing up with black and purple pattern.

I noticed when i loaded my recourse pack that i made for 1.8 in the most recent snapshot, i noticed that my sugar cane was the texture that happened when you try to load a block from a newer version in an older version. so went to check what other blocks had been effected and most of the blocks that i had with 3d werent working.
