Redstone Torch Bug - Snapshot 13w01a

I was making a lamp with redstone, and I broke a wood block with a redstone torch on it. It stood there, And I tested it on many blocks, still bugged.

What I expected to happen was...:
If I broke the origin block, the redstone torch would fall off.

What actually happened was...:
The redstone torch didn't fall off and break when the origin block was removed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a block on the ground
2. Place a torch on the side of it (so it's hanging on the block)
3. Break the base block. Watch the torch.
