Mycelium Placement bug

Yesterday, I tested out the new minecraft snapshot (14w25b), and I saw that silk touch can mine Mushroom blocks. SO I built up a house from myceluim to build the mushrooms on, and when I got to y=81 on my cordinates, the mycelium disappeared! Idk if its a bug, but I would love it to get fixed
