The End Crystal don't have the bedrock plate and don't turn to bedrock after hitting it

Normally, the End Crystal has a bedrock block with it and when you hit it, the End Crystal turns into a Bedrock block, but instead, it just turns into a fire block. They ain't any bedrock block with it at all, before and after you hit the End Crystal.
