Chopping Acacia Trees, drops oak wood with broken texture

When chopping down an Acacia tree in my game, it dropped a broken texture item, and when I picked it up, it was oak wood. I already had oak wood in my inventory, and the new oak wood didn't stack with the old one at all. The Acacia tree still dropped the normal saplings.
