dispensers, droppers and stairs directional issue

*What I expected to happen was...:*that the stairs/dispenser/dropper would point the right direction.

I thought that the stairs/dispenser/dropper would point the right direction.

What actually happened was...:

The flat side of the stairs always points east. the dispenser/dropper always points south BUT if you place a dispenser/dropper next to a dispenser/dropper then it will face west.(the stairs also look weird in creative menu)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a step by step guide on how to trigger the bug here
2. ...Stairs-place stairs.
3. ...dropper/dispenser-place a dropper/dispenser.
4. ... then place a dropper/dispenser next to it.
