Removing a block with a Redstone Torch on it will not remove the Redstone Torch

Upon removing a block which has a redstone torch attached to it the redstone torch was not removed. In previous versions of the game, I have not observed this behaviour.

The redstone torches also stay active, continuing to provide a redstone current.
