I used /give @p minecraft:double_plant 1 6 and it crashed my game

I was building a map and I'm pretty far into building it but I needed a sunflower to be part of a /give command. I was going through the double_plant and once I got to 6 it made the little noise for getting an item then my game crashed (I used /give @p minecraft:double_plant 1 6). I tried to reload the world and it crashed again. Then after that because I knew it was an inventory problem I tried to go and delete the playerdata in the map files. This failed to work so now I'm lost. You could maybe add a plant with that ID to fix the problem (in next update)?
