i switched from creative to survival on a single player world, and when i opened my inventory, i could see the front and back of my skin.

What I expected to happen was...:
see only the front of my skin

What actually happened was...:
see both the front and back of my skin

Steps to Reproduce:
1. switch from creative to survival using /gamemode
2. open your inventory
