Fireworks near ice causes part of ice to not render

I expected a regular firework explosion under the ice.

The firework exploded, but some parts of the ice disappeared.

1. Explode a rocket underneath ice. The firework must have an effect when it explodes, but this can be as simple as a regular, crafted firework.
2. Look carefully and parts of the ice will disappear for a frame when the rocket explodes.
