Will not let me online

This bug will not let me online while playing minecraft pc.

I expected to be able to get on and play a multiplayer server with no problems.

I was going to play and it did not let me online even though i am connected to the internet.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Minecraft
2. Log in
3. will not let me play online only shows play offline
