Texture Changes when Sticky Block pistoning

Hook up a block that doesn't use the same design for each side to a sticky block, then use a piston, activate it, you notice as the sticky block moves and it drags along the blocks around it [LOVE this feature] it quickly changes the rotation of the item by the sticky block, so a sideways block appears rightside up, and vice-versa. It goes away quickly, but recurs whenever you use the piston again.
