Facing East (and any other direction) does not show the 'Towards Positive/Negative X/Y'

In previous snapshots, facing East would tell you which coordinate it would increase/decrease. In the first picture, it shows a screenshot taken in 14w11b, with the 'Towards Positive X'. The second one is taken in 14w17a, and does not have the 'Towards Positive X'.
