Chicken Jockey Issue: Zombie not riding the chicken

When playing on the snapshot 14w17a, I noticed a weird glitch with a chicken jockey. The zombie appeared to not be riding the chicken; instead, it looked more like the zombie was inside the chicken. However, when the chicken moved, the zombie still went in the same direction as normal. (Sorry if the screenshots are a bit unclear)
