Java Virtual Machine Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Exits Minecraft

Just for the instance of 14w17a I have been unable to open my minecraft due to Java's crashing, this is probably a issue related to the new update of java but it just comes up with a screen saying this "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Maching. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. " Which I have also seen several times with Modpacks that I have used but I hope this will be fixed for the newest update of Java so I don't have to downgrade. Thanks
