Spruce Leaves texture appears invisible when modified to a 64x texture through a resource pack

When I retexture Spruce Leaves to the attached leaves_spruce.png via a Resource Pack, it appears invisible (see top screenshot) and in default pack, it is there (bottom screenshot)
