Farmland Picking Gives Unknown Block

I tried picking dirt in creative by using the pick key on farmland. Normally, this gives you dirt, however, instead it gave me dirt with a data value of 7 and had a texture that was black and pink when placed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place dirt and use a hoe in creative.
2. Pick the block.
3. Place the "dirt".
