On LAN multiplayer player doesn't receive knockback from snowball

When i throw snowball on other player on LAN world, that player doesn't receive knockback, doesn't make "hurt" sound and don't do any other reaction, with makes snowball fights on LAN much less enjoyable. Same goes for impact of thrown ender pearl.

What I expected to happen was...:
Player on LAN should receive knockback, when is hit by snowball.

What actually happened was...:
Player does not react at hit by snowball.
