SIGSEGV on i965_dri.so driver

Minecraft crashes randomly. It affects every version of minecraft that I've tested, the earliest being 1.4.6. It affects every version of Ubuntu I've tested, the earliest being 12.04. It affects every version of Java I've tested including Openjdk 6 & 7, Oracle Java 6 , 7 , & 8. It happens on modded minecraft and vanilla. It happens with my included flags and without. I've reported this bug to Oracle with no response. From what I've seen I am to assume this affects Java games that use OpenGL.
