Potential DOS Exploit?

When querying the MojangAPI with the same name twice in one go my Testprogramm hangs when getting the InputStream.
I dont't know if this can get abused, but i figured i'll report it.

Example:

McUUID.getUUIDForNames("Faithcaio", "Faithcaio");
