Creative Block breaking with a sword.

I was in creative mode on my server. When I right click and left click at the same time, on a block, with a sword, in creative mode, The block dissapears for a second, and re-appears. It doesn't MINE the block, nor break it. It just dissapears for 1 second, then comes back.
