Snowing on one of my worlds that beforehand did not (unsure if bug)

I run my superflat world for redstone tests and stuff, and usually update it on every snapshot (I first created the world at 1.6.3 I believe with the Tunnelers Dream preset), at first, due to the ground being very high up in an extreme hills biome, it would snow a lot, but eventually with the updates it stopped, which I assume was some update to not have it snow in this kind of superflat world.

I downloaded the update and started up my redstone test world and it was snowing everywhere.

It is not much of a problem but it gets annoying having to clear the snow a lot and if I put a roof on the top of the world I will have to change at least 150 command blocks in the most important thing I've made in that world. I did back it up so if it isn't changed I'll just load the snapshot and backup and change the command blocks or stay on the snapshot.
