Can't See Minecraft Blocks

Built a new PC, and downloaded minecraft onto it. When I made a new world, I couldn't see grass, or dirt, but just the outline of a block. If i drop an item, I can see the block fine, it's just the blocks themselves which are missing. The picture below shows what I'm trying to say.

I have tried to fix the bug by making sure all my drivers and everything really is up to date, and it is. I took the files where they worked fine from my old PC, and transferred them over, but still get this bug.

It's making the game completely unplayable, so fix plz?
