when beacons break the wont drop the iteam inside. The item just disappears.

If an item in the beacon when it breaks it vanishes. Its a great way to loose a few diamonds. You can test it for yourself. First left click a beacon. Then put any fuel in it. Now you can break the beacon and nothing will drop out!
