Renamed items' name isn't shown in italic or coloured on item switching

Steps to reproduce:
1. Rename an item in an anvil.
2. Put it in your hotbar.
3. Switch to it.

What I expected to happen was:
The item name is shown in italic, since it's renamed.

What happened instead was:
The item name is shown without italic.
