Weired!!!!!

when i put in this command in 1 command block:

/setblock ~0 ~1 ~0 minecraft:air 1

and this in a command block under it:

/setblock ~0 ~2 ~0 minecraft:redstone_block 1

and when i activated i with a command block on the top of the 2 a purple and black block appeared and it had the redstone block particles and powered some redstone i used to trigger the second command block. Please fix this.
