Players connecting to a LAN world crash on the use of firework rockets

When in a creative, superflat LAN world, the person connecting to the LAN world crashes with the error message "End Of Stream" whenever firework rockets are used. This occurs when placing them directly on the ground, and when emmited out of a dispenser.
