Skeletons stop running away from wolves when they go into water

I heard that in this snapshot that skeletons run from wolves now. It works but not in water.

What I thought was gonna happen:
The skeleton was still going to try to run away when it stepped into the water

What Really happened:
When it got into the water, it just stopped, and just acted like it couldn't see the wolf, however, the wolf was still going after it.

How to reproduce:
1: Spawn a wolf & skelly
2: make sure there is a lake nearby
3: if the skeleton runs into the water you'll get this problem.
