Missing Textures

My grass, leaves, sand, and quite a few others have missing textures. I am not using a resource pack or modified jar. It happens when I try to use resource packs with custom block models, even if I take the resource pack off the problem still occurs; but the issue gets resolved after I try to relaunch Minecraft.
