Minecraft Granite texture change demand

This isnt a bug but i granite is not black like it is in real life with crystals stciking out of it. its looks nicer when it black and i want it always near lava.
the texture is bad for granite.The polished gravel can be black as well.
The brown granite texture is bugging me
