Invincible Minecraft World

Every time (since MC update 1.7.5,) I want to access any of my Minecraft World there is just nothing but void. I can see the sun above and the moon below me. I can destroy blocks and particles appear. Can't see any Mobs/NPC's. I re-installed Minecraft a couple of times and have no mods or resourcpacks on Minecraft.
