cant log in to minecraft

When ever i play minecraft I push play it loads but then it will freeze and say not reasponding then crash i think it has to do with something with my texture pack because i think i got one that is to big someone pls help me i dont want to lose this game plsss help well i just pushed help again after my game crashed and it said out of memory how to i make more memory or delete some?
