skin loading with a resource pack

When I use a resource pack, such as the Faithful32 pack, it messes up the way parts of the skin are oriented. For instance, the head is just the hair or the arms are both different. It did this with both my skin and the default Steve skin. When I take off the resource pack, the skin returns to normal.
