Suicide Chickens

In my 2 high house I lead in some chickens while i was finishing my farm,I came in my house and there was a dead chicken. I picked up the chicken and cooked not knowing what happened. I then waited and watched the chickens and saw they were hopping on my bed and dying when touching it i was very confused so I lead them into my farm and logged off.
