Too much unnecessary lag

Whenever i go on a 1.8 snapshot, there is too much lag for me, causing me to not be able to play. I do wait for chunks to load, but every time i move i get extreme lag. The game never crashes, it just... lags. I don't know how you would recreate this bug. 1.7.4 and older runs fine for me, it's just the 1.8 snapshots.
