CanPlaceOn command doesn't work with redstone ores

CanPlaceOn command doesn't work with redstone ores

What I expected to happen was...:
To be able to place my block with the canplaceon command on redstone block in adventure mode

What actually happened was...:
I could not place my block on the redstone ore in adventure mode. the redstone ore just glows

Steps to Reproduce:
1. /give @p stone 1 0

{CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:redstone_ore"]}

2. /gamemode 2
3. put the block in the selected item slot and try to place it on to a redstone ore
