Ctrl+Q Crash

My game consistently crashes when I press Ctrl + Q on an empty inventory slot. It works just fine when I have an item selected (drops the entire stack), but crashes when the slot is empty.
A minor issue, easily avoided, probably easily fixed, but a bug to be considered.

(I am running no mods)
(I'm not quite sure what to put in the affected versions, but this bug occurs in version 12w50a)
