[MC-49140] Invisible Textures in Snapshots while using AMD Drivers

On versions such as 1.7.2, 1.7.4, and Snapshot 14w06b and below, I recieve no issues whatsoever, but on Snapshots 14w07a and 14w08a, I cannot see most all of the textures in the game. Blocks like cobblestone, logs, slime blocks, water, and lava are visible but stone, dirt, granite, etc. are not. I have installed the drivers, and made sure the Mipmapping and Anistropic Filtering are off. It has randomly begun working 3 times now and I have no idea why. Driver Version: 8.970.100.1100, which equals 13.9
Works fine on 1.7.4, starts with 14w07a. DB already said that there were major changes.
Is this would be correct and won't be fixed, a lot of cards get unsupported, raising the minimum system requirements to the level of 2009 (AMD Radeon HD 5xxx), while older Nvidia's are still supported well.
